Five paving jobs performed by Cadillac Asphalt Crews throughout 2021 have received awards from the National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA). NAPA’s Quality in Construction awards recognizes a crew’s commitment to building high-quality, smooth, durable pavement for the driving public.
The award-winning projects were Maple Road in Ann Arbor, Schaefer Road in Dearborn, Jefferson Avenue in Detroit, Grafton Road in Monroe, and the General Motors Proving Ground Milford Road Course in Milford. Crews will receive a plaque for their achievements, recognition in the NAPA Awards Brochure to be distributed at the annual Quality in Construction Awards Breakfast, and will have a chance to take a photo with NAPA Chairman Jay Winford.
“The asphalt pavement industry is committed to building high-quality projects that deliver superior performance to the traveling public. All contractors' projects earning a Quality in Construction award are measured against best practices designed to live up to that commitment,” said Winford.
The Grafton Road project will also receive a Larry Lemon Award. The Larry Lemon Award goes to the 10 highest-scoring projects submitted for Quality in Construction Awards in the General Paving category.
