Michigan Paving & Materials, Stoneco of Michigan, and Cadillac Asphalt are teaming up to form a Women’s Employee Resource Group. Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are voluntary, employee-led groups that allow members to network with and support each other. They are designed to encourage an inclusive workplace, increase employee engagement, and help develop future leaders. Members of the group join based on shared characteristics and life experiences; in the case of this group, that is aimed at women in construction. This new Women’s ERG seeks to increase communication and the easy sharing of relevant resources between the women of MPM, Stoneco, and Cadillac. The official launch and first events will take place in early 2022.
