Employees from Michigan Paving & Materials and Cadillac Asphalt took part in the American Cancer Society's Big Dig event this summer. This annual program brings members of the construction industry from all over Michigan to raise money to fight pediatric cancer. The family-friendly event also introduces youth to the exciting world of skilled trade and construction careers. Operating Engineers 324 Construction Career Center hosted the 2021 event on July 17. Children took part in construction-related activities, viewed equipment, and interacted with members of the construction industry.
